Police authorities are seeking information following the death of a man in hospital, which occurred after a collision involving two vehicles in Derbyshire. The incident, which took place on Thursday at approximately 19:00 GMT, involved a Nissan Micra and a Honda Civic. The crash occurred on the A618 Rotherham Road, near Barlborough. Derbyshire Police reported that the driver of the Micra, a man in his 50s, sustained severe injuries and subsequently died in hospital. The driver of the Honda Civic, however, did not suffer any serious injuries. The police force is specifically requesting that any witnesses or drivers who were in the vicinity at the time and possess dashcam footage come forward to assist with their investigation.
