An individual has been acquitted of the murder charge concerning a man who passed away seven years subsequent to an assault in Leicester city centre. Jamie Burrows, aged 36, sustained a head injury from a brick on 18 January 2014, in Belgrave Gate, as presented to a jury at Leicester Crown Court. His death occurred on 12 November 2021, following a seizure experienced at his residence, “his mother told the court.” Nathan Forbes, 38, residing at London Road, Oadby, Leicestershire, was exonerated of the murder charge on Monday. He had previously pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and completed an 80-month prison term.
