Death reported after motorcycle and van collide

A fatal collision on a dual carriageway has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. Northamptonshire Police reported that a man in his 50s was killed when his blue Yamaha motorcycle collided with a white Vauxhall van. The incident occurred between the Chowns Mill roundabout and the Rushden Lakes roundabout, near Rushden. The victim passed away shortly after the crash, which took place at approximately 15:30 GMT on 29 November. A 30-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on police bail as further inquiries are conducted. Officers are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who possesses relevant information, come forward.
