Linfield manager David Healy has been recognized as the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association’s (NIFWA) manager of the month for November. This marks the 20th occasion Healy has received the award. With this latest accolade, Healy now stands alongside Stephen Baxter, David Jeffrey, and Ronnie McFaul as the sole managers to have achieved this honor 20 or more times. During the month, Linfield secured victories against Carrick Rangers, Ballymena United, Larne, and Portadown. These results allowed them to increase their lead at the top of the league table to seven points. However, the club’s scheduled match against Dungannon Swifts on Saturday was postponed due to Storm Darragh. Healy commented on the period, stating, “It’s been a strange month, because we’re not playing as well as we can but we are still top of the league.” He further added, “The Larne win at Inver Park was the highlight of the month. We reached a high level and defended well. I want to see more performances like that.” In other awards, Cliftonville striker Joe Gormley received the player of the month award, and Dundela forward Michael McLellan was recognized as November’s top Championship player.
