Law enforcement officials have received authorization for an extended period to detain two female individuals believed to be involved in the murder of a man whose body was discovered inside a vehicle in Helston. According to Devon and Cornwall Police, magistrates situated in Bodmin approved their request to keep the women in detention for an additional 36-hour period. The force reported that its officers located the deceased man, identified as being in his 60s and from the Avon and Somerset region, within a vehicle at Helston Business Park in the early hours of Wednesday. The two women, aged in their 50s and 80s, who are also residents of the Avon and Somerset area, were taken into custody on Thursday on charges of suspected murder, concealment of a death, and obstruction of a lawful burial. Authorities stated their belief that this was an isolated incident where the individuals involved were known to one another, indicating no broader danger to the community. They also informed the public to expect a heightened police presence within the business park as the inquiry progresses. The police service appealed for any individuals possessing pertinent information to contact them.
