Firefighters successfully extricated a cow that had become lodged between two metal posts. The animal became confined within a narrow space inside a barn on Monday, at a farm located near Thame, Oxfordshire. Personnel from Thame Fire Station and Kidlington Rescue Tender responded to the scene, accompanied by a veterinary professional. The vet administered a sedative to the cow, enabling the rescue operation to commence. The Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that the cow was freed after one of the posts was “carefully” cut away.
