Testimony presented in court indicates that an associate of the Grammy-nominated rapper Slowthai allegedly assaulted a woman at a post-performance house gathering. Alex Blake-Walker faces accusations of raping the woman during the party in the early morning hours of September 8, 2021. The incident reportedly occurred following a performance by the rapper, identified as Tyron Frampton, in Oxford, according to proceedings at the city’s crown court. Mr. Frampton, aged 29, and Mr. Blake-Walker, aged 27, have both pleaded not guilty to three combined counts of rape and one count of sexual assault involving two separate women. The jury was informed that Mr. Blake-Walker, residing on Wallbutton Road in south-east London, was an acquaintance of the rapper and a member of his accompanying group. Prosecutors contend that he raped one of the women, with alleged encouragement from Mr. Frampton. Furthermore, the prosecution asserted that Mr. Frampton, from Wellingborough Road in Northampton, had twice raped the second woman, allegedly with encouragement from Blake-Walker. The prosecution additionally claimed that both individuals sexually assaulted the woman whom Mr. Frampton is accused of raping. Testimony presented to the court indicated that Mr. Frampton had performed at The Bullingdon music venue in Oxford city centre on the night prior. Following interactions with fans, he returned to his tour bus, subsequently receiving an invitation to a party at a residence occupied by one of the women from the group. The initial woman testified to the jury that she had ascended to the roof of the property with the second woman, Mr. Blake-Walker, and Mr. Frampton. She stated that after a conversation, they initiated consensual kissing, but then Blake-Walker compelled her to engage in a sex act with him. Sheryl Nwosu, counsel for Mr. Blake-Walker, put forward the suggestion that the consensual kissing progressed to consensual oral sex. The woman responded, “Not willingly.” “When he pushed me down, I said I didn’t want to do that. I said repeatedly I wanted to go back inside.” She denied feeling embarrassed and explained her reasons for leaving the house, stating to the jury: “I wanted to get myself out of a very scary situation.” During a recorded police interview, the complainant mentioned she had been “excited” that Frampton would be attending the house.
