A local authority has declared that two markets in Warwickshire are scheduled to operate on an increased number of days in the period leading up to Christmas. Councillors stated that the Nuneaton market will be accessible for five supplementary days, while the Bedworth market is set to welcome customers for three additional days. The Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council stated that this decision is intended to “help residents and visitors make the most of the festive season”. Furthermore, these supplementary dates are being provided subsequent to a number of prior cancellations caused by inclement weather. Nicky King, the portfolio holder for business and regeneration, commented: “These extra market days are a wonderful opportunity for traders to showcase their unique and wide range of goods during the busy festive period.” The Nuneaton Market is now scheduled to operate on December 21, 23, 24, and 28, in addition to January 4. Concurrently, the Bedworth market will open on December 21 and 24, as well as January 3. Stay connected with BBC Coventry & Warwickshire on BBC Sounds, Facebook, X, and Instagram. Copyright 2024 BBC.
