A company has offered an apology after a gas leak resulted in travel disruption at a key junction in Hull. Northern Gas Networks stated that its engineers have been “conducting investigations and repairs” at the intersection of Hall Road and Beverley Road since the leak occurred on Wednesday morning. The company reported that it “made the situation safe” and had installed temporary three-way traffic lights while the repair work was in progress. Operations Manager Chris Keith commented: “We are aware it is a busy junction and apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
