QPR head coach Marti Cifuentes stated his refusal to consult the Championship table, even as his team has moved out of the relegation zone and off the bottom position over the last two weeks, having remained undefeated in their last four Championship fixtures under his leadership. The club’s 3-0 triumph against Norwich City on Saturday marked their initial home league win of the current season, enabling them to ascend from the bottom three positions in advance of their upcoming match on Wednesday against Oxford United. Cifuentes remarked, “It was the same when we were at the bottom – I don’t look at the table, it’s about focusing on ourselves, on our performance and trying to get as many points as possible.” He further added, “I don’t want to be in the same situation we were in last March and April where we knew we had to get a certain number of points and we were on the edge.” Currently, QPR holds a one-point advantage over the relegation zone, having secured two draws and two victories in their last four fixtures. Cifuentes commented, “The challenge now becomes even bigger – the nature of the human being is to relax when things go well but we want to win against Oxford, it’s going to be difficult so we need to keep improving.” Post navigation England Secures Series Victory Over Samoa, Farnworth Shines Brentford, Bournemouth, and Southampton Reportedly Eye Fabio Silva
