A three-course meal is scheduled to be provided for vulnerable individuals within Birmingham New Street station on Christmas Eve. As many as 300 attendees are expected to be given hot meals, presents, and performances by carol singers, occurring between 14:00 and 17:00 GMT on Tuesday. This marks the seventh instance of the charity Midland Langar Seva Society (MLSS) collaborating with Network Rail to enable those in need to experience a Christmas meal. Over £5,000 has been collected for this yearly dinner, which aims to assist individuals “deprived” of the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with their “dear ones,” as stated by MLSS. Randhir Singh, from the charity, commented, “It’s about feeding hearts as much as bodies, sharing warmth, and lifting spirits.” The organization characterized the holiday period as the “pinnacle of loneliness,” with the intention of assuring people that “they are not alone and that they matter.” Post navigation South Asian Women Confront Domestic Abuse, Highlighting Linguistic Gaps Guernsey’s Market Square Christmas Tree Elevated Following Public Feedback
