Chris Sutton is providing predictions for every one of the 380 Premier League matches throughout the current season, engaging with various guests. For the eleventh week, his challengers are Mylee and Tate, known from the CBBC football drama Jamie Johnson FC (JJFC). Sutton’s forecast for the match is a 2-2 draw. He states that West Ham is currently struggling, noting, “As I said on the Monday Night Club, they don’t really have an identity under Julen Lopetegui.” Sutton describes Lopetegui as having “always been a pragmatic manager in my eyes” but observes that the team aims to play a more expansive style, leaving the manager “stuck somewhere in between at the moment.” He also expresses significant doubt about their home performance, despite their victory against Manchester United “a couple of weeks ago,” which he considers a “lucky” win. Although West Ham, referred to as the Hammers, remains higher than Everton in the league standings, the Toffees had demonstrated superior form. However, they recently suffered a defeat against “struggling Southampton last week,” a result Sutton deems “a disappointing defeat whichever way you look at it.” He points out that “The only team Everton have beaten away this season is Ipswich,” leading him to conclude, “I would not feel confident backing them to bounce back with a win here.” Sutton adds, “I don’t want to pick another draw, but this has got one written all over it.” Mylee predicts a 2-0 victory, stating, “I am definitely backing my team here!” Tate, on the other hand, forecasts a 1-2 scoreline, commenting, “I played for West Ham but they have had a few defeats recently so Everton might edge this.” Read the full predictions and have your say hereSandi Toksvig is joined by Gyles Brandreth, Lulu, Emmanuel Sonubi and Alan DaviesGrab the mic for Queen, Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Katy Perry and more…Ben Fogle and Kate Humble are back for the festivities at Longleat Safari ParkFrom micro plastics in our air, soil, and waterways, to the extent of food waste at this time of year© 2024 BBC.
