Authorities have disseminated a CCTV image of a man they are seeking to identify in relation to a sexual assault, characterized as “incredibly distressing and alarming,” which took place in Bristol city centre. The incident occurred on 10 September at approximately 03:30 BST, when the victim, while seated on Union Street, was approached by an unidentified male. According to Avon and Somerset Police, the two individuals then proceeded along Union Street in the direction of Castle Park. Subsequently, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim, as stated by the police force. Authorities are seeking to identify the man depicted in the image, who is described as black, aged between 30 and 40 years old, of average build, and approximately 5ft 8ins (176cm) in height.
