Call for User-Submitted Images of Hampshire & Isle of Wight

Viewers are invited to contribute their photographs capturing the beauty of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. These submissions offer a daily opportunity for relaxation and appreciation of the region. Images can be uploaded via BBC Weather Watchers or sent by email to southweather@bbc.co.uk. Instructions for picture submission reiterate the use of BBC Weather Watchers or the email address southweather@bbc.co.uk. For creative guidance, contributors can access advice from three of England’s Big Picture photographers. When submitting images via email, specific accompanying information is required. While all submissions are appreciated, photographs captured within the preceding week have a higher likelihood of being featured. An archive of previously featured images is accessible on Instagram, identifiable by the hashtags #bbcsouthnews, #HampshiresBigPicture, and #IsleofWightsBigPicture. Submission of images is subject to adherence to the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. By contributing to Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture, individuals grant the BBC a royalty-free, non-exclusive license for worldwide publication and use of the material across all media. Contributors retain copyright ownership of their submitted content, and their name will be published alongside any accepted image.
