Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes spoke to BBC Sport following today’s draw. He expressed his personal desire to contribute more goals and assists, stating, “Everyone knows how much I wanted the goal to come. I need to help the team with goals and assists. It’s been one of the most disappointing things this season – but I got some in the cup. Now scoring in the Premier League.” Fernandes also conveyed the team’s collective sentiment, adding, “It was a lot of disappointment in the dressing room. We could have won the game.” Addressing questions about changes under Ten Hag, Fernandes commented, “Not much has changed. In midweek the goals went in. I said to some friends everything will come to us and people will say we wanted the manager to be sacked. We get the point and we can be happy for that. We need to be disappointed because we’re far back in the league.” Regarding Ruud van Nistelrooy, Fernandes remarked, “Ruud is a nice guy, humble for someone who won everything at the club.” When asked about incoming boss Ruben Amorim, Fernandes stated, “I am a big fan of Sporting and watch a lot of their games. Ruben Amorim brought the excitement back to the club – it was a little bit split when he came [to Sporting]. He transformed everything and brought everyone together.” Post navigation Nottingham Forest’s Ipswich Victory: Three Reasons for its Significance Proposed Bench Spell for Kyle Vassell
