Brighton possesses two highly valued players, striker Evan Ferguson and playmaker Julio Enciso, both of whom are currently experiencing limited playing time. This season, Ferguson has accumulated 105 league minutes, while Enciso has played only 84 minutes; both individuals returned from long-term injuries sustained last season. Reports suggest that the Seagulls may be prepared to allow Ferguson to depart on loan in January. Brighton has declined to comment on the matter, but it is understood that Enciso would be receptive to a loan transfer. This situation could evolve rapidly during a busy December, a period of fixture congestion that will present additional opportunities for all players. Sources have also indicated that Enciso is willing to wait, acknowledging the potential for changing circumstances, and that discussions regarding potential loan conditions will occur closer to the opening of the transfer window. Ferguson is struggling to secure minutes due to the current good form of Danny Welbeck, Georgino Rutter, and now Joao Pedro. Concurrently, Enciso faces competition for a spot from Kaoro Mitoma, Simon Adingra, and Yankuba Minteh. Under young manager Fabian Hurzeler this season, Brighton has suffered only two defeats and currently holds a strong fifth position in the Premier League.
