Boy Arrested Following Machete Threat During Nottingham Robbery

A boy has been apprehended following a robbery in Nottingham, during which a man was threatened with a machete. According to Nottinghamshire Police, the victim was also lunged at and had his bicycle stolen in Prestwick Close, Strelley, on Thursday night. The force indicated that the event transpired during a pre-arranged meeting to acquire an electronic item for the man’s bike. On Friday, a 15-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of robbery. Det Sgt Chris Mavers issued a statement, saying: “Investigations into this incident are still ongoing. As such, we are still very keen to speak to anyone else who may have witnessed it or have any information which could help us with our inquiries.”
