Police involved in the search for a 46-year-old man missing on the Isle of Man have confirmed that a body has been located in Douglas Harbour. This development comes after a five-day search operation for Lee Scott, who resided in the island’s capital and was last observed on Friday morning. The Isle of Man Constabulary stated that while official identification is still pending, the individual is “strongly believed” to be Mr Scott. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is continuing, and his family is receiving support from officers, the Constabulary added. Specialist personnel recovered the body from the harbour on Wednesday. Police have requested that people “respect the family’s privacy and refrain from any further speculation”.
