Thousands of music and surfing enthusiasts are anticipated to seek tickets for the annual Boardmasters festival in Cornwall. The event is scheduled to occur from 6 to 10 August across two venues, Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach, both located in Newquay. The initial roster of performers was announced on Wednesday. General sale tickets will become available on Friday morning through the festival’s official website. The camping options for VIP tickets feature fast-track entry to campsites and the arena, along with access to the VIP campsite bar. Child tickets are also available from £25. Children aged nine to 15 years must possess an adult ticket and be accompanied by an adult over 21. On Wednesday, Boardmasters announced that The Prodigy and Raye will headline the festival. VIP Weekend camping benefits include a reserved pitch, access to showers and toilets, and a complimentary on-site parking pass. For the first time, Boardmasters will also offer accommodation packages for those choosing to stay off-site in Newquay. A variety of options are available in close proximity to the festival site. This year will see an increase in long-distance routes provided by Big Green Coach, expanding from 85 to 119. These services will be accessible to festival goers from across the country, complemented by 50 coaches serving the nearby park and ride. Organisers have also adjusted drop-off locations, positioning them closer to the entry gates.
