Giant inflatable figures have appeared on the rooftops of a popular coastal resort as part of Halloween festivities. These 10 large inflatable entities have been set up to create a complimentary monster hunt route in Blackpool, available until November 3. Specific characters, named Bezerker, Chomper, Octoplasm, Howler, and Sick Jagger, are visible on rooftops along the Golden Mile and within the town’s central area. The creation of this trail was undertaken by Designs In Air, an inflatable arts company known for producing comparable installations in Manchester, Lincoln, and Bradford. Luke Egan, the creative director, expressed his anticipation that “everyone gets a chance to see our colourful creatures who will be invading rooftops all along the Golden Mile and nearby town centre to join in the Halloween events this year”. He further stated, “Last year, our tentacles went wild in the sea breeze on top of Blackpool Tower and this Halloween you can expect even more wild-eyed, monstrous, arm-waving hysteria – and that’s just from our team.” The government’s Shared Prosperity Fund has provided financial backing and assistance for this monster hunt.
