The BBC has developed five distinct football quizzes, each celebrating a different BBC program, designed to challenge even the most extensive football trivia knowledge. Participants can assess if their expertise is comparable to “Strongest Link” or closer to “Pointless.” All quizzes, with the exception of the “Pointless” quiz which features questions from previous episodes of the show, were created by the BBC Sport team, drawing inspiration from their respective BBC quiz programs. The difficulty of the quizzes increases progressively, culminating in the “Only Connect” finale. This offers an opportunity for participants to challenge their knowledge. Viewers can watch “The Weakest Link” on BBC iPlayer this Christmas. “The Traitors” is also available to catch up on via BBC iPlayer this Christmas. For those unfamiliar with the “Answer Smash” round, an explanation is provided. This round involves combining the answer to an unrelated question with an image. For example, a picture of some Liverpool players and a question where the answer is Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko would create an overall answer of:Liverpooleksandr Zinchenko. “Richard Osman’s House of Games” can be watched on BBC iPlayer this Christmas. “Pointless” is available to catch up on via BBC iPlayer this Christmas. The fifth and final quiz, “Only Connect,” is described as particularly challenging. “Only Connect” can be watched on BBC iPlayer this Christmas.
