Aurigny’s summer 2025 schedule from Guernsey features daily services to destinations including Manchester, Birmingham, and Bristol. The States-owned carrier has augmented its London City service to 15 weekly flights, simultaneously discontinuing its London Stansted route. Concerns were voiced last month by tourism businesses regarding delays in the publication of travel timetables. The airline indicated it adopted a “phased approach to the schedule release”; its most recent update specifies three weekly flights to Dublin, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The Edinburgh service is set to continue, operating weekly on Wednesdays, while Paris flights will be available on Mondays and Fridays. A service connecting to Leeds Bradford is planned for twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from May 21 through September 27. An assessment released earlier this month, which investigated the 2024 fleet composition and decision-making processes, concluded that a pilot shortfall represented the company’s most significant challenge. This review was initiated in August, following a period of disruption experienced throughout the year. Sudeep Ghai, the chief commercial officer, commented: “We have carefully curated our summer 2025 programme, balancing the delivery of the right connectivity for our community and operational integrity.” “We’re especially pleased to bring back our popular Paris, Edinburgh, and London City services, building on their success.” Readers can follow BBC Guernsey on X and Facebook, or submit story ideas to channel.islands@bbc.co.uk.
