A teenager has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing that left a 15-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries. Police were dispatched to the junction of Frankley Beeches Road and A38 Bristol Road South, located in Birmingham’s Northfield area, at approximately 00:50 GMT on Monday. West Midlands Police confirmed that the victim was taken to hospital and is now in a stable condition. A 15-year-old boy, whose name cannot be disclosed for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court. A second teenager, aged 17, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been granted bail while further inquiries are conducted.
