Police are treating a fire at a residence located on one of Leeds’ most expensive streets as arson. Firefighters were dispatched to the blaze on Sandmoor Drive in Alwoodley just after 19:00 BST on 14 November. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue reported that no individuals sustained injuries in the incident, which resulted in the destruction of the derelict property. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police stated that an investigation is ongoing and appealed to anyone who observed anything suspicious in the time leading up to the fire to get in touch with the force.
