Law enforcement officials have apprehended three individuals, including a 16-year-old male, following a reported robbery in Nottingham city centre where a man was allegedly threatened with a knife. Police reported that a man in his 20s was assaulted and had his high-value jacket stolen on Milton Street at approximately 16:55 GMT on Monday. A 22-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, along with the teenager, were taken into custody shortly thereafter on suspicion of robbery. A subsequent search of the suspects led to the discovery of a machete, in addition to Class A and Class B drugs. The male suspect was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article in public and possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply. Authorities further apprehended the female suspect for the possession of Class A and Class B drugs. Inspector Andy Wright stated: “While the victim in this case, thankfully, didn’t sustain serious injuries after being attacked, I’ve no doubt this will have been an incredibly distressing experience for him.“After being assaulted and reportedly threatened with a knife, the man was made to hand over a high-value coat he was wearing at the time.“We unfortunately haven’t yet located this jacket, so we’d ask anyone who knows where it could be to please report this to the police.” For updates, follow BBC Nottingham on Facebook, X, or Instagram.
