Arrest Made Following ‘Terrifying’ Knifepoint Robbery at Amesbury Store

Law enforcement officials have reported that employees at a retail establishment were subjected to a knifepoint robbery, an event described as a “terrifying incident,” during which £80 was taken. A male individual, believed to be in his twenties, has been taken into custody on suspicion of robbery regarding this occurrence. The incident took place at approximately 11:40 GMT at the One Stop store located in Sandell Place, Amesbury, Wiltshire. The premises are presently cordoned off as authorities conduct their investigation. Detective Constable Martyn Powell commented: “This was a terrifying incident for the staff where they were threatened with a knife. Wiltshire Police is treating this matter as a serious incident.”
