An arrest has been made following the discovery of a deceased individual alongside the A47. Norfolk Police initiated an inquiry on 2 December, after a male in his 20s was located near the roadway in King’s Lynn around 09:20 GMT. The stretch of road between the Pullover roundabout and the Tilney All Saints roundabout remained inaccessible until approximately 17:00 GMT. Authorities apprehended a man in his 60s in Reading, on suspicion of offenses including causing death by careless driving, failing to stop after an accident, and failing to report a collision. He is currently being transported to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for interrogation. Initial results from a Home Office post-mortem examination indicate that the individual’s death resulted from a head injury. Law enforcement had previously requested that anyone possessing information or dashcam footage depicting a man walking along the A47 at Tilney All Saints during the early morning hours contact them.
