An individual has been apprehended following a vehicle’s collision with the side of a bungalow. Suffolk Police responded to the incident on Foxhall Road, near the roundabout junction with the A1189 in Ipswich, at 00:12 GMT on Wednesday. Following the impact, two men were observed exiting the vehicle and proceeding towards the town centre. Subsequently, at 07:38, a man was taken into custody on suspicion of dangerous driving. He was then transported to a hospital to receive medical attention. The police force indicated that a cordon would remain in place for an unspecified duration at the bungalow, which is situated adjacent to The Cutting Edge hair salon and Pin High Golf. Engineers from UK Power Networks were called to Foxhall Road at 01:49 to ensure the safety of the electricity supply. Structural engineers were also dispatched to the property to assess and secure the building. Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
