Liverpool supporter Abigail Rudkin has indicated that head coach Arne Slot has “put the belief back” into the club’s fanbase following a nearly flawless start to the current season. Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside, Rudkin remarked, “Losing Jurgen Klopp was such a big change, so I wasn’t expecting things to go well this quickly.” She further commented on the team’s prospects, stating, “It makes you think what we are capable of this season when we are going into the run for Christmas at the top of the table.” Rudkin characterized the current situation as “fresh and new” and added that it “has put the belief back into a lot of us. A lot of us probably did lose that belief when we were thinking about the impact of transitioning.” She also observed that “Players seem to have their spark back and enjoy playing under Slot. It is a surprisingly happy place to be in at the moment for Liverpool.”
