A kitten, initially abandoned in a field, has successfully been placed in a new home. Named Ozzy, the kitten was only a few days old and still had his umbilical cord attached when he was found in Cambridge. After his discovery, rescuers transported him to the nearby Village Vet clinic. There, veterinary nurse Holly Anderson provided hand-rearing care for Ozzy over a period of 10 weeks. Ozzy has since been adopted by a local family, who are acquaintances of Ms. Anderson. She noted that the kitten has achieved “brilliant progress”. Ms. Anderson stated, “Despite it being touch and go on a few occasions, I persevered and the little baby started to grow and develop into the gorgeous boy he is today.” Initially, Ms. Anderson fed Ozzy every two hours. She has prior experience, having hand-reared three other kittens. She further commented, “Ozzy is a cheeky, active kitten who has such a great personality and has fit in well with his new family.” She added, “We are excited to follow Ozzy as he grows up.” Post navigation Lewes Bonfire Event Anticipates Thousands of Attendees New Multibank Initiative Launches to Provide Household Essentials to Families
