A major thoroughfare has reopened following an incident where a lorry overturned, causing a diesel spill. National Highways stated that overnight emergency resurfacing work would be required on the northbound carriageway of the A11 near Norwich. This work was already part of a planned road closure for Thursday evening. Emergency services were dispatched on Thursday at approximately 06:45 GMT to the A11, specifically the section between the B1135 towards Wymondham and the A47 towards Cringleford. Norfolk Police confirmed that the lorry driver was transported to hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and the truck has since been cleared from the location.
