Organisers have confirmed that the pop and ska band Madness is scheduled to perform at the Eden Project in Cornwall during the upcoming year. According to Eden Sessions officials, the group, known for achieving 15 singles in the UK top 10, is slated to appear on stage on Saturday, July 12. This band represents the third act revealed for the yearly music festival, following earlier confirmations of Gary Barlow and The Script, who are set to perform in June. Rita Broe, the managing director of the Eden Sessions, noted that Madness previously performed at the Eden Project in 2017, an event she described as a “huge success,” adding that the venue was “incredibly excited” to host them again. Broe stated: “We can’t wait to see what the band have in store for us this time around.” Among the band’s well-known songs are One Step Beyond, My Girl, Baggy Trousers, and their UK number one hit House of Fun.
