Huddersfield Giants have finalized a two-year agreement with South Sydney Rabbitohs utility back Jacob Gagai. Gagai previously made his NRL debut in February, playing in Las Vegas against the Manly Sea Eagles. The 28-year-old athlete recorded nine tries across 17 appearances during the previous season. Gagai will join England international Tom Burgess in transferring from the Rabbitohs to the Giants. Head coach Luke Robinson commented, stating, “He’s a player that epitomises what we want a Giants player to be. His work ethic is phenomenal and he’s a great bloke, too, so he’ll add to the culture.”
