Police have reported that a man was arrested in Torquay following a suspected stabbing. Devon and Cornwall Police stated that officers responded to calls at 12:20 GMT on Tuesday concerning a man who had been stabbed at Castle Circus. The injured man was subsequently transported to a hospital. A 49-year-old individual from Paignton was apprehended on suspicion of committing assault causing grievous bodily harm and has been placed in custody. According to officers, a scene guard remained established at Castle Circus, leading to restrictions on Union Street and Tor Hill Road. Authorities have issued an appeal for any witnesses to the incident or individuals possessing relevant information to come forward.
