Fire investigators have concluded that an explosion at a block of flats, which resulted in a man sustaining serious burns, was accidental. The man, in his 20s, was transported to hospital in a critical condition on Monday evening after the incident on Chase Road in Burntwood, Staffordshire. A two-storey flat incurred damage from the blast, which prompted an investigation. Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service has not yet disclosed details regarding what caused the explosion.
