Wolverhampton Wanderers have allowed a league-leading 15 goals from set-piece plays this season, not including penalties. The club has only given up a greater number of goals from these situations in a Premier League season during their relegation campaigns of 2003-04 (20 goals) and 2011-12 (18 goals). At their home ground, Molineux, the team has conceded 34 goals across 16 Premier League matches played in 2024 to date. The last occasion they allowed more home league goals in a single calendar year was in 2012, when they let in 47 goals over 23 games. This 2012 season also represents the sole other year in the club’s history where they have conceded at an average of two or more goals per game at Molineux.
