A man has faced court proceedings, charged with attempted murder, after an incident in Coventry where another man was struck by a car. The incident involved a 19-year-old man who was hit by a vehicle on Gresley Road in June, shortly before 21:00 BST. West Midlands Police stated that his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening. Reece Camilleri, aged 24, attended Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and is scheduled to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 2 December. Mr Camilleri, who has no fixed address, stands accused of attempted murder and causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
