Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler stated that his team’s readiness to “challenge the establishment” will be demonstrated in their upcoming two Premier League matches against title contenders Liverpool and Manchester City. Prior to their Saturday visit to Anfield, Hurzeler’s squad currently sits sixth in the league table, having suffered only one defeat this season. Hurzeler commented, “Now we can prove to ourselves how far we are as a team and how ready we are to really challenge the establishment. In the end, that’s where we want to go, that’s the ambition from the club. That’s our responsibility to show it individually and also as a group if we are ready or not.” Jack Hinshelwood, who was a substitute for Brighton during their Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday, conveyed to BBC Radio Sussex, “It’s a massive game, going to Anfield is a tough place to go. We want to go there and challenge these big teams. It’s what we set out to do this season, we don’t want to just be making up the numbers, we want to make our own stamp on the game and earn some points.” Post navigation Cleverley Expects Watford to Create “Uncomfortable” Match for Oxford United Nedum Onuoha Reflects on Mario Balotelli’s Tenure at Manchester City
