An octogenarian woman has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body inside a vehicle at a business park situated in Cornwall. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that the remains of a man in his 60s, originating from the Avon and Somerset region, were located within an automobile at Helston Business Park on Wednesday. The authorities further stated that two women, aged in their 50s and 80s, also residents of Avon and Somerset, had been apprehended on suspicion of murder, along with charges of concealing a death and preventing a lawful burial. Detective Inspector Neil Blanchard, a member of the Major Crime Investigation Team, conveyed his belief that “the people involved were known to each other and there was no wider risk to the public.” Officers discovered the man’s body during inquiries conducted in the Helston area in the early hours of Wednesday, initiated due to concerns for welfare, according to the force.
