Police indicate that a driver involved in a collision in Leeds is thought to have experienced a medical emergency while operating the vehicle. West Yorkshire Police received reports of a Mazda CX5 colliding with street furniture and a tree on Station Road at approximately 13:00 GMT on Wednesday. A spokesperson for the force confirmed that the man, who is in his 50s, was “believed to have suffered a medical episode and was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition”.
