A woman has founded a charitable organization and an associated website to assist pet owners in caring for their animals. Stephanie Stefani launched the Paws Protection Project, explaining that she “wanted to do more for animal welfare in Guernsey.” She stated that the goal was “to provide comprehensive information on animal welfare for lots of different animals that was free, easily accessible and easy to understand.” Ms. Stefani clarified that her charity differs from the GSPCA and that she is not competing with it. She noted that she has always been “surrounded by lots of different animals from cats, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, stick insects [and] fish.” She currently owns three dogs and two cats, and mentioned that family and friends frequently asked her for advice on how to train their animals. Ms. Stefani added that the charity also provides a rehoming service. She further remarked that “the GSPCA do a great job of rescue and rehabilitation of a variety of animals, especially wildlife, and it is therefore important to note that we are not here to rival the GSPCA in anyway.” Post navigation Swansea’s Distinctive Beaujolais Day Celebrations Compared to Christmas Church Featured on Chemical Brothers Album Cover Added to ‘At Risk’ Register
