An 80-year-old man has sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a motorbike while crossing a road, police have confirmed. Emergency services were dispatched to Leger Way in Doncaster, near the junction with School Lane, shortly before 16:30 GMT on Monday. Authorities believe the man was hit by an orange KTM 125 Duke 12 motorbike, which was travelling alongside a red Aprilia Tuono 125 bike. The rider of the KTM was also transported to hospital, having suffered serious injuries. South Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant footage to contact them.
