A recently surfaced recording features Charles Manson, the infamous cult leader, seemingly confessing to further homicides. His adherents, known as the Manson Family, were responsible for the deaths of nine individuals in 1969. Manson orchestrated these murders with the intention of instigating a race war. He passed away in prison in 2017. Audio recordings, recently made public and captured during his incarceration, are included in a new documentary. In these recordings, Manson appears to discuss previously undisclosed killings. On one of the tapes, which is part of the new documentary series “Making Manson,” Manson states: “See, there’s a whole part of my life that nobody knows about. I lived in Mexico for a while. I went to Acapulco, stole some cars. I just got involved in stuff over my head, man. Got involved in a couple of killings. I left my .357 Magnum in Mexico City, and I left some dead people on the beach.” The documentary also includes interviews with individuals associated with Manson, alongside his former cellmate, Phil Kaufman. Mr. Kaufman remarks in the series teaser: “Charlie was very good at being evil and not showing it. Anything that detracted from his game plan at that time, he would squash it, but he did it with velvet gloves.” The Peacock streaming service indicates that within the series, Manson “recounts the early crimes that led to the murder spree in the summer of ‘69”. The Manson Family was responsible for the deaths of nine individuals, among them the heavily pregnant Hollywood actress Sharon Tate, who was married to Roman Polanski. Susan Atkins, one of Manson’s young followers, fatally stabbed Tate and used the actress’s blood to write “PIG” on the front door of the residence. Four additional individuals present at Tate’s home were also brutally stabbed to death. The following day, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, a prosperous couple in Los Angeles, were similarly murdered by the group. These homicides are collectively referred to as the Tate-LaBianca murders. Additionally, Donald Shea, a Hollywood stuntman, and Gary Hinman, an associate of the group, were killed by members of the Manson Family in separate incidents. Although Manson was not physically present at the locations of the murders, he was nevertheless found guilty of murder for orchestrating his followers in seven of these killings. His death occurred in 2017 due to natural causes while incarcerated. Post navigation Motorcyclist Jailed After High-Speed Police Evasion and Crash Men Convicted in Gisèle Pelicot Rape Trial
