Raskin Urges Rangers to Match European Form for Celtic Final

Nicolas Raskin stated that Rangers must achieve the same high level of performance demonstrated in European competitions if they intend to defeat Celtic in the League Cup final. The Belgian midfielder distinguished himself during Rangers’ strong showing, which resulted in a 1-1 Europa League draw against Tottenham at Ibrox. Raskin commented, “We need a good performance. We just need to repeat the kind of performance we’ve been doing in Europe because it’s that type of game. So just go, play the same way we’ve been playing [against Tottenham], we’ve been playing Nice, Olympiakos, and then go win. We just need to win. It’s not going to be the midfield or offensive, it’s just the whole team needs to go, stick together with the fans pushing and go for the win.” Captain James Tavernier, who delivered the cross that led to Hamza Igamane’s opening goal, expressed his delight regarding another “special” European night at Ibrox.
