Pedestrian Killed in M1 Lorry Collision

A man has passed away following a collision with a lorry on the M1 motorway within Leicestershire. Authorities reported that the individual, who was a pedestrian, was hit by a livestock transport vehicle on the southbound lanes close to junction 21 around 17:30 GMT on Sunday, succumbing to his injuries at the site of the incident. According to officers, the driver, any passengers, and the horses inside the vehicle sustained no injuries. Appeals are being made for witnesses and dashcam recordings pertaining to the event, which resulted in a section of the road being shut down for several hours.
