A 35-year-old male has been formally charged with murder after a homeless man was assaulted while taking refuge in a bin shed in central London. Anthony Marks, 51, sustained injuries during an attack that occurred in the early morning hours of August 10 on Cromer Street, situated near King’s Cross St Pancras station. He died on September 25. Harry Gittins, identified as being from Camden, was apprehended and charged on December 6. He is slated to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. Furthermore, a 17-year-old girl from Brixton, south London, and a 17-year-old boy from Dagenham, east London, whose identities are protected due to their age, have also been charged with murder.
