Authorities have apprehended two additional individuals on suspicion of murder, linked to the fatality of a man discovered with stab wounds in Bradford. Luqman Ishfaq, aged 23, was located on Barlow Street in Barkerend on Monday, October 21. Police described the circumstances as an “incident of violent disorder.” He subsequently passed away in the hospital. West Yorkshire Police reported that a 23-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were taken into custody on Friday. Separately, two other individuals, aged 26 and 19, who were arrested overnight on Thursday, also on suspicion of murder, are still being held by police. A 24-year-old man, previously arrested on suspicion of affray, has been granted police bail while further investigations proceed. Law enforcement officials stated that the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team’s investigation has led to the arrest of 15 individuals to date. Officers confirmed that the 10 other individuals previously arrested in connection with Mr. Ishfaq’s death have since been released on bail. A police spokesperson had previously indicated that Mr. Ishfaq was among four individuals who fled from a VW Golf involved in a disturbance and were pursued by a group carrying weapons.
