Police Seek Suspect Following Teignmouth Sexual Assault

Devon and Cornwall Police are working to identify an individual in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in Teignmouth in October. The force reported that the incident took place outside Teignmouth Library at approximately 20:15 GMT on 19 October. According to police, the suspect is believed to have approached the victim and sexually assaulted her before she managed to fight him off. The assailant has been described as a white man in his early 30s, approximately 5ft 8in (1.7m) tall, with short dark hair and short facial hair. Police also noted that he was carrying a dark backpack and was seen wearing a white puffer coat, dark trousers, and white trainers. Individuals possessing information or who may have witnessed the incident are urged to contact the police.
