Arsenal’s interest in RB Leipzig’s Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko persists. The 21-year-old is understood to have a £55 million buyout clause in his current contract, according to the Mail. In other news, manager Mikel Arteta is expected to contribute to the selection process for the club’s next sporting director, following the decision by the current Brazilian incumbent, Edu, to step down from his role with the Gunners, as reported by The Times. Lastly, West Ham United reportedly believes that their technical director, Tim Steidten, could be a candidate under consideration by Arsenal to fill the vacancy left by Edu, according to The Telegraph.
