Grammy Award winners Kings of Leon have been confirmed as the headline act for the opening night of Lancashire’s Lytham Festival in 2025. The American rock band is scheduled to commence the event on 2 July. Organiser Peter Taylor stated that securing their performance follows years of effort to bring the group to the festival. He remarked, “We’re really excited that we’ve finally got them to agree.” Other performers previously announced for the festival include singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette and actor Justin Timberlake, alongside the bands Simple Minds and Texas. Mr Taylor, who is also a co-founder of the festival, indicated that additional acts would be revealed in the coming weeks.
